Grantee Obligations
Grantee confirms that it is an organization that is currently recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a public school district, private/public elementary and secondary schools as listed by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
Win Early Literacy (WEL) may include information on the Grant in its periodic public reports and may make information about the grant public at any time on its web page and as part of press releases, public reports, speeches, newsletters, and other public documents. Grantee will allow WEL to review and approve the text of any proposed publicity concerning this grant prior to its release.
In consideration for receipt of the grant, Grantee expressly agrees to indemnify, defend, protect and hold harmless WEL and any of its affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees against all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, expenses and liabilities asserted by a third party, including a state, federal or local government agency, or employee or contractor of Grantee arising from, regarding or related to, directly or indirectly, this Agreement or the acts or omissions of Grantee, its agents, and employees, even where caused in whole or in part by the negligence of any third party, whether presently known or unknown. Indemnification hereunder shall also include any and all related costs and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees.
Grantee will ensure that all potential recipients of and participants in a Grantee’s programs and services have access and receive services without regard to, age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship status, military or veteran status, religion, creed, disability, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, medical condition as defined by state law (cancer or genetic characteristics), gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions, socio-economic status, religion, first language, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances.

Win Early Literacy, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Because Win Early Literacy, Inc is newly formed, being incorporated in the State of Georgia on August 28, 2020, no financial statements have yet been prepared.
